Charlottesville High School is proud to officially announce that Kathleen Druzba is being promoted to Head Field Hockey Coach!!

 

Coach Druzba will be the Fall 2020 Varsity Field Hockey Coach. She grew up and is originally from upstate New York, and graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts. She later earned her Masters in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. She has two college-aged daughters that she raised in South Carolina prior to moving to the Charlottesville area.  Her experience with field hockey started from middle school and led to competing at the division I level in field hockey at Springfield College in Massachusetts from 1991 to 1994. She started teaching PE/Health at CHS in 2017. Druzba is no stranger to coaching  and has been doing so since 1994. She has coached over 7 different sports including field hockey, basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, track & field, and cross country. She is excited and very passionate about coaching the Charlottesville High School Field Hockey team this fall!
