Basketball tryouts will begin Monday November 6th with the Boys starting at 4pm and the Girls starting at 6pm. All other Winter sports begin on Wednesday, November 8!!! Swim             4:15pm     Brooks YMCA   (Near CHS) Wrestling       4:pm         Mat Room Indoor Track  4pm       

Conference 23 Brackets Set!!

The 4A Conference 23 boys basketball brackets have been set.  Although Charlottesville High School finished 4th, we will host a boys game on Monday February 13th.  If we win we would travel to Amherst the following night.  The finals of this tournament will be held on Thursday February 16th.  Please click on the links below

Tournament Time!!!!

The regular season ended on Friday February 3rd.  The boys basketball team closed out with a huge come from behind win over Western Albemarle High School.  They have secured a spot in the Jefferson District Boys Tournament semi-finals which will be held at Albemarle High School on Tuesday February 7th.  Charlottesville will face Western at

Regular Season Ends / Senior Night!!!

Last Friday vs Louisa the Charlottesville High School girls basketball team hosted Louisa County for their senior night.  Tonight the boys basketball team will host Western Albemarle for senior night and the regular season finale.  After tonight the Jefferson District tournament brackets will be set.  Stay tuned for game times and sites!!!

Events Rescheduled…

Due to several of our neighboring school systems being out of school for the past few days there have been several events that have been rescheduled.  The swim meet at Smith Aquatic Center is still on for tonight vs Spotswood High School.  The basketball games vs Powhatan have been pushed to Wednesday January 11.  On

Daily Progress All Tournament Teams

As the 2016 Daily Progress Holiday Hoops Basketball Tournament came to a close on Thursday night, the all tournament teams were announced.  Several Charlottesville athletes made the cut and in addition, Destinee McDonald earned the tournament’s Most Valuable Player Award!!!.  Please help us to congratulate her and the other CHS players that made the All
